We have waited almost two months for the Reno 14 series to arrive in Pakistan, and it’s finally happening. Oppo has started dropping the teasers for the vanilla Oppo Reno 14. One of their social media posts even confirmed the launch date. The Pakistani market will welcome the first Reno 14 series member on 3rd August, so mark your calendars.
The Reno 14 has a smaller screen than the Pro at 6.59 inches, but it has the same 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution to go with it. This panel supports an HDR10+ rating with 1200nits HBM brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i guards the screen from scratches and scuffs.
Reno 14’s durability is top-notch, and it can survive for 30 minutes in 2m of deep water. The phone is officially rated IP68/IP69 water and dustproof by TUV. Sadly, the newcomer needed to skip the 3.5mm audio jack and the SD card slot to achieve the high protection rating.
This latest Oppo Reno mobile is built around a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip and Color OS 15 (Android 15) operating system. It’s a 3.35GHz (4nm) platform with a high-end Mali G615 MC6 iGPU. Looking at Reno 14’s spec sheet, we can confirm that the chip is paired with UFS 3.1 storage, which makes this device semi-flagship.
Its camera setup is even more jaw-dropping. The newcomer brings a 50MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto shooter with 3.5X zoom. Even its selfie cam has the same 50MP resolution, and each lens supports Gyro EIS for 4K 60fps video recording. There’s also a fourth camera on the back with an 8MP ultrawide shooter.
Some of its best AI features include AI Editor 2.0 and AI Flash photography for those nighttime shots. AI Perfect Shot and AI Recompose are also part of the suite in case you need to tweak your photos. And that IP69 rating helps with underwater photography as well.
There’s a 6000 mAh battery inside the Reno 14, which might last you one and a half days with light usage. When it runs out, you can recharge the cell with 80W fast wired charging. We’ll let you know about the phone’s official retail price and memory options as soon as the company launches the Reno 14 in Pakistan on 3rd August. Stay tuned.
