Oppo Reno 14 series made its debut in China earlier this month, and now we look forward to its arrival in the global market. The standard Reno 14, powered by the Dimensity 8350, has started popping up in certification databases worldwide, which means the rollout could begin within a few weeks.
The Reno 14 5G has just passed certifications in UAE and Thailand. The device was spotted on both TDRA and NBTC databases under the same model number (CPH2737). That’s identical to what we found on some of its previous certifications in multiple international markets.
So far, the phone has visited the IMDA Authority in Singapore, the SDPPI regulatory body in Indonesia, GCF, and TUV Rheinland’s databases. Suffice it to say that every region where the Oppo Reno 14 5G has been tested shall inevitably welcome the device.
The certifications lack important details about the new Oppo 5G mobile. The only helpful clue we found about Reno 14 (Global) is from TUV's documentation, where its 80W charging support has been officially penned down. That’s the same input speed we already saw on the Chinese Reno 14 variant.
Speculations on the internet suggest that the Chinese and the global Reno 14 5G should come with identical hardware. If that’s the case, we might find this newcomer with a 6.59” 1.5K display with OLED technology and the refresh rate clocked at 120Hz.
This phone has near-flagship performance, looking at its Dimensity 8350 SoC. Up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM is built into this device, and we have around 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which should give users plenty of room for their apps, documents, and media.
Aside from the Reno 14 Pro, the base 14 5G may be the most advanced Reno phone the company has made so far, especially the cameras. Its primary, telephoto, and selfie sensors all come with 50 MP resolution. The ultrawide lens is the only one that has a low-res 8 MP sensor.
The global rollout for the Reno 14 series should begin in July, and we look forward to at least two color options it might bring along. There’s Pearl White Edition and a black variant. You can see both in the images. Oppo should confirm the phone’s international launch date soon, so stay tuned for a follow-up story.
