Oppo Reno 14 Leaked Renders Confirm New Camera Design & Color Options

A few days ago, we spotted renders of an upcoming Reno device on the web, painting a vivid picture of what to expect from the phone. The same device has appeared in some new images today. Experts are unable to identify its moniker for the time being, but all signs point to the base Oppo Reno 14 or the Reno 14 Pro variant.

The same source that provided earlier renders for Reno 14 has shared the new images today. @evleaks generously gave away the full design and three color options that are expected with Oppo’s upcoming flagship: Black, White, and Mint Green.

Of course, these are not the official marketing names for the colorways, but they are the basic hues used for the finishes. It seems most of the attention has been given to the white Reno 14, which has a feathery texture on the back. The others have matte paints in black and mint green colors.

The new Oppo Reno mobile has a new lens arrangement, as you can see in the photos right here. Some might say it’s mimicking the iPhone’s lens array. The dual lens on the left side is borrowed from the forerunner (Reno 13), but the right hemisphere is entirely different because of the elongated pill design, housing the third lens right above the LED flash.

Oppo Reno 13 was already under scrutiny for looking too much like an iPhone, but the company seems to have decided to double down on the philosophy for the Reno 14 and boldly acknowledge the inspiration for its devices. Rounded corners, a flat profile, and an Aluminum frame all mimic the standard iPhone design.

A former leak mentioned a 50 MP Main OIS lens and an 8MP ultrawide shooter for Reno 14. There’s still some confusion about Reno 14 and 14 Pro’s design, but so far, all the leaks seem to be covering the non-Pro version. In time, we might also see the Oppo Reno 14 Pro in leaks.

We also saw a model “PKZ110” on the Geekbench database recently, which is said to be an Oppo Reno 14. The benchmark clearly showed a Dimensity 8400 chipset inside this device with up to 12 GB RAM. There might be more variants coming, but we have to wait for the brand to confirm the details. This is an evolving story, so stick around to find out more about Oppo’s new Reno 14 lineup.
