Oppo Reno 14 Series Headed to Pakistan with 120Hz AMOLED & IP69 Rating Across the Board

The Oppo Reno 14 series has been out for nearly two months, and just as we are about to enter August, the company has teased the phone for an upcoming launch in Pakistan. It’s a crew of three midrange devices: Reno 14 Pro, Reno 14, and Reno 14 F. Oppo didn't clarify which phone will enter the country first, so here’s a quick look at all three of them.

Among these newcomers, the most powerful variant is the Reno 14 Pro. This device has the best chipset of all and the biggest display. It’s a handset built around a 6.83” flat AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and a brightness that isn’t too shabby at 1200 nits HBM.

The Pro version runs on Mediatek’s Dimensity 8450 chip, which is the latest in its class, with 4nm fabrication and 3.25GHz clock speed. There’s a quad 50MP camera system on this phone with the same resolution for primary, ultrawide, telephoto, and selfie sensors.

Its battery is also the best among all three, with 6200mAh capacity and an 80W wired charging solution. The latest Oppo Reno mobile is the only phone in this crew, by the way, with a wireless 50W charging solution. Android 15 x Color OS 15 is standard across the board, and so is the IP68/IP69 dust and waterproof rating.

The Oppo Reno 14 ranks just under the Pro with a smaller 6.59” AMOLED and an older Dimensity 8350 SoC. Its specs and performance are just as enticing, even though it’s cheaper. The vanilla model has the same 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits HBM brightness. Even the 1.5K resolution is here.

The area where it’s lacking a bit is the camera. There’s only an 8MP ultrawide shooter on the Reno 14. Although thankfully, the rest of its camera gear is exactly the same as the Pro, having a main 50MP shooter, 50MP telephoto, and a 50MP selfie on the front. The phone brings a 6000mAh battery and 80W wired input, but it doesn’t have the wireless coil for recharging.

As always, the least powerful device in this series is the Reno 14 F, which has a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip at its core. It’s still a mid-range phone, but made affordable with a few compromises. The camera setup has been downgraded, and the Reno 14 F comes with a 50MP main, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie camera is 32MP.

The screen is a 6.57” AMOLED with no HDR, but it still uses a 120Hz refresh rate and, surprisingly enough, a higher 1400 nits HBM brightness. This will be a 1080p FHD+ experience. As for the battery, the company provides a 6000mAh capacity on this Reno 14 F rechargeable at a 45W speed. Oppo will soon confirm the series’ launch date in Pakistan and drop a few more teasers, so stick around for a follow-up story.
