One UI 9 beta was officially opened to the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE last week. They’ll now keep updating the test firmware until it has reached a stable version. This means we’ll see several more beta updates on the Galaxy S25 FE fixing the bugs in the previous versions. The second One UI 9 beta is now available on the handset.
Apparently, the new build has fixed four main issues. Of course, some new features have also been added to the 2nd beta for testing. The changelog said that the update will bring some new AI tools. And they fixed the Bixby Vision translation errors on One UI 9.
There was a crashing issue in the Contacts app that they’ve fixed with this second beta. WiFi connection drop problem was also resolved. There may be underlying changes that weren’t disclosed in the changelog, but this small list definitely calls for an update.
New AI features they added to One UI 9 beta are custom cards for Now Brief and Now Nudge. Then there’s MyFanCam. This just tracks a specific person in the viewport, and the camera follows them around. This is a software feature, so technically usable on older Galaxy flagships. Anyway, the size of this new build is just 411.2MB. That’s a puny download and shouldn’t take long to install. Read the changelog first and make sure you want to commit to the update. The firmware version you’ll probably see in the changelog is “S731NKSU9ZZI4.”
By the way, the update is only seen on the South Korean version of the Galaxy S25 FE, and other regions are still waiting for the beta to unlock. Of course, this is a beta update, so only Samsung members in limited regions can access the firmware. Keep watching the news for more updates.
