Nubia has two phones with the same name, both for the global market. It seems as if the company wants you to forget the original ZTE Nubia A76 4G that debuted in February. They’ve now unveiled a more modern verison of the ZTE Nubia A76 4G that has a bigger, faster screen and better charging.

Nubia A76 4G has a camera plateau and corner radius like the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra. But the lens stack looks like an iPhone. They rarely make designs of their own, so this is hardly news. But the front screen definitely does not look like those flagship phones.
They went with a notched IPS LCD on the Nubia A76, which is very common in the entry-level. There are thick bezels and a chin on the panel. The screen is now 90Hz at 720p HD+ resolution. Its size is also larger at 6.75”. The original version only had a 6.5” 60Hz screen at 720p.

That screen is actually rated for 500 nits of brightness. They’ve put an 8MP selfie camera in the notch. The camera isn’t half bad on the Blade A76, since they outfit the main lens with a 50MP sensor. There’s nothing out there about its second or third rear lens. We assume those are faux lenses to balance the design, nothing more.

By the way, they didn’t upgrade the battery whatsoever. ZTE new Nubia model built around a 5000mAh battery, even if the phone has gotten bigger. Endurance is probably the same, but at least the phone will recharge faster. The charger it now supports can actually deliver 22.5W (vs. 10W on the original A76).

It’s not much of a powerhouse, though, because the chip is just a weak 1.8GHz SoC. The two A76 versions barely have any performance disparity, and yes, they even operate on the same built-in Android 15 OS.
The frame is plastic, not metal, but it’s still IP54 rated. The side rail has the accented power key/side fingerprint ID. The newcomer seems to have 4GB of RAM with either 64GB or 128 GB of local storage. The new Nubia A76 4G retails in Europe at €150 (~PKR 46,000).
