Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will be launched early this year, but the only question is when? The company’s quarterly financial report and the partner’s meeting provided insight into their upcoming plans. Samsung has a jam-packed schedule ahead of it, and that’s part of the reason why S25 FE’s debut has been moved up. A new report from Korea provides the exact date.
The Korean source at fnnews seems to believe that the S25 FE might go official on September 19th, which is almost one week earlier than the S24 FE’s launch in 2024. We are only talking about the unveiling here, not the retail deployment, which happened later on October 3rd.
Samsung phones usually have a small pre-order window between their unveiling and sales. Due to the nature of the machine translation, there’s still some confusion about what “September 19th” could mean in the context of Galaxy S25 FE. Is it the sales date or the day of its official debut? Only time will tell.
The report also gave away the expected price of Samsung's latest FE mobile in Korea, which is KRW 1 million or roughly Pakistani 204,000 rupees. This device could eventually arrive in our market, but it will be subject to Pakistan’s high tax rates and end up costing more in the country.
We’ve been hearing rumors on the internet that the S25 FE could bring an Exynos 2400, which is a marginal upgrade over the Exynos 2400e. The screen will be AMOLED with your usual 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Its front shield might be layered with a Gorilla Glass Victus.
The camera setup hasn’t changed much. We still have the same 50MP OIS sensor here that we saw last time. And yes, the same goes for the other two lenses: the ultrawide 12MP shooter and an 8MP 3X telephoto camera.
There’s only one change in this camera category, which is a 12MP selfie sensor (upgraded from 10MP). This is a flagship phone after all, so it’s probably rated IP68, just like the Galaxy S24 FE. We have to wait for more leaks to confirm the rest of its specs, so keep watching the news.
