Honor X9e Pro debuted in Malaysia right on the dot. The promos had been hyping up this newcomer for a week. Now that it’s here, the teasers were no exaggeration. The design is premium and the durability is top-notch. And the best part about the Honor X9e Pro is its colossal battery.
The sheer battery size alone will put the Honor X9e Pro on the map. Surely, you would agree. The handset is built around an 11,000mAh pack. That’s definitely among the largest batteries we’ve seen on Honor phones. You can scroll short videos on it for 35 hours straight. Regular videos play for over 66 hours, apparently.
The battery should last 6 years until it falls below 80% health, which is not too shabby. It will draw 80W from the wall for refills. And 27W reverse wired output turns it into a power bank for other accessories. The gargantuan battery isn’t the only thing going for the Honor latest 5G mobile.
There are dual cameras on the back. The main lens has a 108MP 1/1.67” OIS sensor. And then we have a 5MP ultrawide snapper. A small punch hole on the front fits a 16MP sensor. Android 16 is the default OS on the X9e Pro with Honor’s Magic OS 10.
They quote an insane 10,000 nits peak brightness on the screen. This would only trigger on isolated pixels, with all the power pushed on a single spot on the OLED. The screen itself is a 6.8” 1.5K panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, rated for basic HDR.
It’s fully waterproof and safe from high-pressure jets or 85° boiling liquids. And yes, it has drop protection too. Apparently, SGS gave it a 5-star shockproof rating. Honor has its patented Ultra-bounce Anti-Drop design to thank for that.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 (2.6GHz) chip does the heavy lifting with 8GB RAM. There’s WiFi 6E and dual speakers on the handset. It has the slower optical fingerprint reader on the OLED. MYR 1,899 (~PKR 129,000) is the official base MSRP for the Honor X9e Pro in Malaysia.
