Honor has been teasing the Honor X9e Pro in Malaysia. The local social pages are filling up with promos, and there’s already a product page on the official site. The launch date is already set, by the way, for September 24th next week. Right when they are about to debut the X9e Pro, some of its specs have surfaced online.

The phone’s battery size has leaked today, which is probably the best feature of the Honor X9e Pro. Surely, you would agree. The handset is supposedly built around an 11,000mAh battery. One of the biggest Honor has ever put on a phone. Yes, they have devices with bigger cells. But that doesn’t make the X9e Pro any less unique.
Anyway, battery size isn’t the only thing going for the new Honor latest 5G mobile. The details we found on the teaser do confirm a dual camera on the X9e Pro, which has a 108MP main sensor. This isn’t the first for the Honor X series, by the way. X9d has it, and so does the X9c.

The reports also tout one insane figure on the X9e Pro’s display. Its peak brightness could be 10,000 nits. This would only trigger on isolated pixels, with all the power pushed on a single spot on the OLED. Still, that’s another record for the Honor X9e Pro.

The phone’s actually tested with an IP69K rating, so it’s fully waterproof from high-pressure sprays, and the X9e Pro has a high tolerance for boiling liquids. And yes, it has drop protection too. Apparently, SGS gave it a 5-star shockproof rating for Honor’s own Ultra-bounce Anti-Drop design.
And we’ve also heard about 80W fast charging on the Pro, which is pretty common on the X series. 11,000mAh battery will take quite long to refill. These specs were published by Wiser, which is a local news outlet in Malaysia. The details might be credible after all.
