Samsung’s about to add a Pro sibling to the Samsung Galaxy S27 series. So there will be four devices in the group rather than three, and today’s leak has spilled the memory and storage configurations for each version. Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro apparently grab the latest UFS 5.1 storage module and LPDDR6 RAM.
The leak we found came from Yeux1122’s new blog in Korea. This credible source has now predicted three storage/RAM combos for the Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro, while only two assortments were suggested for the basic Galaxy S27/S27+.
12GB RAM and 256GB storage are found on the base Samsung latest S mobile. This will be extended to 12/512GB in the middle option, stretched all the way to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage on the top variant. Galaxy S27 Ultra doesn’t have a 2TB option, or at least that’s what the leak predicts.
Galaxy S27 Pro has the same storage options, with 12/256GB trim at the floor and a 12/512GB version in the middle. It also hits the ceiling at 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Not all versions have UFS 5.1 NAND and LPDDR6 RAM, though. We assume 1TB is the only tier that unlocks faster memory/storage for Pro and Ultra.
There are two more devices at the lower rank. They are the usual Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus with little variety in storage and RAM. All you get is 12GB of base memory (for S27 Plus and vanilla S27) with either 256GB storage or 512GB storage on the higher tier.
By the way, higher-bandwidth LPDDR6 memory has only been seen in a 16GB RAM module. The first of its kind is found on the XRING O3 chip inside the Xiaomi 18 Fold. Since Pro and Ultra are the only phones in the Galaxy S27 series with 16GB RAM, we presume LPDDR6 is only found in that trim. Those two are also the only phones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip. So they call dibs on UFS 5.1 storage as well. Keep watching the news for more updates.
