Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro might be a smash hit if Samsung plays its cards right next year. This phone is staked somewhere in the middle of the lineup. Its alleged 6.47” screen makes it smaller than the S27 Plus, but the grapevine reports it as an Ultra-level phone. The latest leak suggests that it may steal the Privacy Display feature from the S26 Ultra.

This was claimed by Digital Chat Station, by the way. So it must have a solid source behind it. Apparently, per the leaker working under the baseline assumption that the device is real, Samsung may be testing hardware-level privacy on the Galaxy S27 Pro.
This only reaffirms what the rumor mill has been telling us all along: Samsung latest S model really is a smaller Ultra phone. People are generally aware, but for those who don’t know, Galaxy S26 Ultra is the first device in the world that has a Privacy filter built into the screen, and the science behind it is truly fascinating.

As for how the feature works, we pretty much know everything about the Privacy Display on the S26 Ultra. You turn it on, and the screen goes dark for anyone looking at the display off-axis. Only the person in the front can look at the content. So no one can peek over the shoulder.

This should work the same on the Galaxy S27 Pro as well. That is, if the phone did use this tech in the first place. DCS is usually accurate about his predictions, but we still advise you not to take this leak at face value alone. We give you two reasons.
There’s no solid lead into the phone actually existing in the first place. And Samsung probably doesn’t want to create its own competition that might overshadow the S27 Ultra. We hear the S27 Pro might use the same 5000mAh battery and 200MP main camera, wired to the exact Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip found on the Ultra sibling. You’ll be hearing from us again as the story develops. Keep watching the news for more updates.
