Vivo has been teasing the Vivo V80 Lite in Pakistan nonstop for two days now. The first teaser didn’t fully reveal its design until now, when a new Facebook post gave us the preview. The rumors about Vivo V80 Lite being a rebranded Vivo S2 couldn’t be more true. We also have leaked live images to prove just that.

Skyline camera and dual curve design. That’s what they’ve been teasing on social media. This will be a 1.5K resolution AMOLED. Vivo has been keeping the rest of the details to itself, but you can trace its design all the way back to the Vivo S2. PassionateGeekz has confirmed they also share the specs.
Vivo new 5G mobile is coming to Pakistan soon, and though we didn’t hear a word on its exact launch date, there is a press release. We did see a few of its specs in the fine print. And yes, they match the Vivo S2 all the way down to battery size and charging.

This newcomer is built around a 1.5K CrystalRes edge AMOLED, which means it curves over the edges. This will be a 6.83” 120Hz panel if this phone is indeed the rebranded S2. We also found the exact chipset it’s supposed to have onboard. It’s an older platform.
They want to put a Dimensity 7360 Turbo chip (4nm) on the Vivo V80 Lite 5G. It’s old, but still relevant for devices like this. Vivo, in fact, is pretty confident that it can still handle 3 OS updates and 5 years of security patches, so the phone is futureproof to some extent.

This chip will help the V80 Lite with consistent smoothness for 50 months. It’s not just a claim. It’s actually certified for it. The battery is just as big as the S2. They’ve put a 7050mAh cell (44W charging) on the Vivo V80 Lite, which could last a full day. At least that’s what the press release said.
Then comes the Skyline (horizontal) camera design, which only has one usable camera and a ring Aura LED. The main camera is just 50MP, and it’s next to a second auxiliary lens. They’ve put a 32MP selfie snapper on the front. We’ll let you know when they announce the launch date. Keep watching the news.
