Samsung Galaxy S26 FE entered Pakistan only a month after its global debut, and it has two official variants. The pricier one has 512GB of storage, while the base option gives you 256GB. There’s an upgraded chip on the FE and some camera features from the upper class, but the specs remain unchanged for the most part.
Not even the design has changed. Galaxy S26 FE is basically the same device as last year. But the yearly chipset upgrade takes it from the Exynos 2400 to the newer Exynos 2500. Yes, the new chip is also decacore, though you have faster new-gen slabs at 3.3GHz and the new Android 17 One UI 9 build by default.
The screen size or specs haven’t changed either. And for a phone at this price, it’s mediocre at best. They’ve reused the 6.7” Dynamic AMOLED. It’s FHD+ 1080p resolution again. The pixels are pushed at 120Hz, and the peak brightness is only 1900 nits. HDR10+ is supported. Gorilla Glass Victus+ should keep it safe.
Camera setup changes nothing, hardware-wise. This Samsung new FE mobile has the same 50MP main + 12MP Ultrawide + 8MP 3X telephoto setup. Its front header puts the same 12MP selfie shooter in a punch hole. But they’ve spiced up the camera app with Super Steady Horizon Lock and MyFanCam AI modes.
A 4900mAh battery is found on the Galaxy S26 FE. So it’s basically the same as the former version. No, it’s not Si/C tech either. Sadly, the rumors didn’t pan out. There is 45W wired power delivery here. The newcomer has a 15W wireless coil on the back if you have a supported charger puck lying around.
The phone’s new One UI 9 build has its own perks. This would make Now Brief more customizable with custom cards made by AI. Call Brief and Noise Cancellation are two of the new features in the Galaxy AI menu. Of course, it also has the usual Samsung DeX and DeX wireless support.
IP68 rating makes the Galaxy S26 FE waterproof on all sides. They’ve apparently committed to 7 years of OS updates. The fingerprint reader on the screen is optical, not Ultrasonic like the rest, so it will be slower. And there’s Stereo speaker output and WiFi 6E support on the FE. The official price for the Galaxy S26 FE’s 8/256GB variant is PKR 250,000. The 8/512GB trim bumps the cost to PKR 320,000.
