Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Gets a Mock Trailer with Major Design Changes & Upgrades

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will look radically different from the current S26 Ultra. We’ve seen many reports on this topic. There have been render leaks in the past. Even some dummy units crashed the internet. Their secret design is already so well known that it has spawned a mock trailer for the S27 Ultra based on the available details.

By the way, the trailer was found on YouTube, and it’s clearly made by a fan, though it’s far too detailed to ignore. This isn’t the most accurate preview of the Galaxy S27 Ultra, but you can tell what major design changes are being considered for this newcomer.

Now we have three cameras on the back, not four. And all these sensors sit on a camera bar this time, just like iPhones. The small space at the top for all the components leaves plenty of room at the bottom for a battery. It’s true what they’ve been saying. The battery’s getting upgraded.

They now intend to use a 5700mAh cell on the Samsung new S mobile. And it’s going to recharge at the same 60W input. The display will look the same, but it will conceal new tech, possibly the new M16 OLED for brighter, more color-accurate visuals. They will switch from PWM to DC dimming for more eye comfort.

M16 OLED will be efficient too, and that’s probably going to help with endurance. Galaxy S27 Ultra might be a tad thinner at 7.7mm, even if the battery size has gone up. Of course, Gorilla Glass Armor 2 and Privacy Display with ceramic coating live on.

The mock trailer says the screen is still 6.9” at 120Hz. But it has 10,000 nits peak local brightness now. We took that with a grain of salt, and so should you. Other reports say that the selfie camera is bumped to 16MP, and that Samsung has skipped the 10MP 3X telephoto.

The performance category got the biggest upgrade of all. We know that the S27 Ultra is reported to pack a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 (2nm) SoC with eight cores and a 5.01GHz boost clock. Those are all the details we have right now. We’ll get back to you once we have more, so keep watching the news section.
