Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro is Soon Debuting Globally; Meet Realme's First Flagship Series

Realme is soon introducing the currently China-exclusive Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro to its global audience. The GT 2 Pro is the first flagship from the Oppo sub-brand. Leaked official teasers have been floating around on Twitter. 


Per these leaked promos, Realme GT 2 series is debuting in March 2022. But Realme has yet to announce this upcoming arrival formally. The Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro were also certified on the Google Play database, hinting at the upcoming launch.

To recall, the Realme GT2 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 at its heart. It’s paired with 12GB of next-gen LPDDR5 memory and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Everything runs on a 5000 mAh battery, powered by 65W DARTCharge. 

The screen is a 6.62” AMOLED that delivers a 1080P resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display of the new GT Realme mobile. The camera embedded in this panel is a 16MP shooter. And the rear camera system features 50MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro shooters.


Realme GT 2 Pro is the most premium Realme phone to date. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the engine. The battery size is 5000 mAh, and the charging peaks at 65W of power. Finally, Android 12 x realme UI runs on this hardware.

The screen is a 6.78” OLED, surrounded by a minimal, even bezel. It peaks at QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Gorilla Glass Victus toughens the Realme GT 2 Pro. And its camera array uses 50MP OIS, 50MP super-wide, and 3MP microscope lenses.
