One country in Europe and two regions in Asia have finally received the Oppo A7 Pro Max. This is the beginning of a global launch. The device was made official in China in August, and it only took a month, give or take a few days, for the second phase to begin. This is everything you need to know about the global A7 Pro Max.
This is the first model from Oppo with a 10,000mAh battery. They’ve launched it in Austria, Europe. It also showed up in Malaysia and Thailand. It’s clear that endurance was the main priority for the A7 Pro Max. It’s not an ordinary battery either. Their labs tested it for 1,500 cycles until it fell below 80% health.
CQC apparently passed it for 7 years of longevity. 80W fast charging is supported, and of course, the same Type-C port can output 27W reverse wired charging. This will replenish gadgets and accessories, even other phones if you want.
10,000mAh battery basically works as a makeshift power bank. It’s also a very durable phone. IP69K rating means water sprays and pressure jets won’t damage the A7 Pro Max, even at 85° boiling temps. It also passed an OS aging test in labs. They guarantee 7 years of consistent smoothness. This newcomer does have 12GB RAM, and that memory is either built in with 256GB or 512GB storage. But the very base model has 6/256GB memory only.
A 6.78” Flexible AMOLED is used on the Oppo A7 Pro Max at 1.5K resolution. And the pixels are pushed at 120Hz. The peak brightness is 1800nits. The 50MP selfie camera has a 100° FoV ultrawide angle. That’s pretty rare. The rear main camera is also 50MP, but with a bigger sensor.
The main lens has OIS for better stability. Both sides will do 1080p recording. The chipset doesn’t allow better video capture. Oppo A7 Pro Max is built around a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chip. The newcomer’s default software is Android 16 (ColorOS 16). Oppo A7 Pro Max’s base MSRP in Europe for the 6/256GB stock is €599 (~PKR 190,000).
