Oppo A7 Pro Max having a 10,000mAh battery wasn’t just a wild assumption. It’s actually true, and the company just confirmed it in a teaser. Yes, the phone is finally confirmed by Oppo, so we don’t need to doubt its existence anymore. The first teaser on Weibo looked like this.
By the way, it’s one of many teasers they’ll be posting on Weibo before the actual launch happens. Things are slow right now. All we know officially is that this newcomer will be the first phone Oppo made with capacity in the 10,000mAh range.
The true capacity might be bigger than what the poster says. Anyway, this wasn’t the only source of official information. Geekbench listings are as credible as they come, but in Oppo A7 Pro Max’s case, the identity is hard to verify.
PYC110 model code was seen on Geekbench, and it’s presumed to be the latest Oppo A mobile. A Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC was seen on this particular handset, by the way. It’s only 2.4 GHz (4nm) and uses some kind of Adreno iGPU for graphics rendering.
But the scores were decent enough: 976 (single-core) or 2250 (multicore) points. There’s some potential here. And we did find Android 16 on the scorecard, so the A7 Pro Max might end up with Color OS 16. There’s no Android 17 for Oppo phones right now.
They tested a version of the phone that had 12GB of RAM. But that’s literally all we found on the Geekbench database. We had to do a little digging. It’s said that the screen used on the Oppo A7 Pro Max is AMOLED 6.78” and it may have a 1.5K resolution, pixels pushed at 120Hz.
There’s possibly a 50MP main camera here. And a 2MP depth mapper might be used to assist the main lens. The A7 Pro Max might end up with a 50MP selfie, and there’s a remote possibility that the newcomer’s charging speed is 80W. Not all, but some of these specs may show up in teasers soon.
