Dcode Cygnal Evo 2 was teased in Pakistan only a few days ago, and now it’s in the market. They just launched the handset in the country with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, and the price also seems reasonable for the hardware it carries. This is everything you need to know about this newcomer.

The design is familiar, and the Dcode Cygnal Evo 2 probably hinges on that look to attract buyers. From what we know, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is supposed to have the same design next year. But the Cygnal Evo 2 actually beats Samsung to the punch.
There’s a camera bar with a three-lens stack and a flash here. But most of it is just decoration. The only working camera it has is a 13MP main unit. Then you have the selfie unit, which actually uses an 8MP sensor from under the screen’s drop notch.

It looks like the Ultra from the back, but the front will rat it out. Dcode new Cygnal mobile appears exactly like any other cheap entry-tier phone. The bezels are thick, and the chin is hard to ignore. It’s a basic screen, something common at that price. This newcomer has a 6.74” IPS LCD.

There’s HD+ (720p) resolution here. It’s not the sharpest. But they make up for it with a 90Hz fast refresh rate. That panel is glued to the frame and tested for an IP64 rating. So the seal is good enough to survive water splashes, but not full water immersion.

By the way, all it has is a 5000mAh battery. And the supported charger can do 10W. This will take a while to hit 100%. That kind of cell usually lasts one day per charge for light users. Nothing else is said about the battery health or lifespan.
They’ve not shown what chipset this phone has. All they say on the official microsite is an octacore chip. 4GB RAM will give you basic multitasking. 128GB storage is built into the Cygnal Evo 2 with SD card support. The newcomer’s official price in Pakistan is Rs 33,999.
