Oppo Reno 15 Series Enters Pakistan with 120Hz AMOLED, 80W Charging & IP69 Protection

Oppo teased the Reno 15 series launch for January 29th, and it kept the promise. But the actual retail will begin on February 9th. All three devices have now been unveiled in Pakistan, and the most premium one is the Oppo Reno 15 Pro. The basic Reno 15 and the Reno 15 F are bigger and better in terms of battery. This is everything you need to know.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro

This Reno 15 Pro is actually a compact handset. It was supposed to be complemented by the bigger Pro Max version, but Oppo didn’t launch it in Pakistan. The standard Pro is built around a flat 6.32” AMOLED that’s also 1.5K resolution and 120Hz. There’s no LTPO here.

The panel actually has a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i to protect itself. And the safety rating goes all the way up to IP69. That’s common on all three devices, by the way. There’s obviously a smaller battery because of its small frame. It fits a 6,200 mAh cell with an 80W wired charging.

This phone runs the same semi-flagship Dimensity 8450 SoC with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This is definitely praiseworthy. Then comes the camera setup on the Reno 15 Pro: a 200MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto 3.5x lens on the rear.

There’s also a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP selfie on the Pro version. The hardware is good enough for 4K 60 FPS videos. Its fingerprint ID is optical. You get NFC and Infrared on this Reno 15 Pro. Everything is put together on an Android 16 ColorOS 16 platform. This newcomer costs Rs. 229,999/- for the solo 12/256GB trim. There really are no other options, which is odd since the Reno 15 sibling has both 256GB and 512GB options.

Oppo Reno 15

The camera and chipset are different, and the display is definitely bigger on the Reno 15. There’s a medium 6.59” AMOLED on this device at FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, but it’s not an LTPO panel. Gorilla Glass 7i is here to keep that screen from scratches and scuffs.

A 6,500 mAh cell is used for the Reno 15 because its screen is obviously bigger and power-hungry. But they‘ve kept the same 80W charging on all three versions. Another thing they swapped out is the chipset. This Reno 15 handset is actually built around a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage).

Reno 15 also scores a 50MP Main shooter on the back, with OIS and all the fancy bells and whistles. Then comes the rear telephoto 50MP OIS unit, which hits 3.5X (or 85mm) zoom. It’s right next to an ultrawide 8MP unit. The selfie camera can do 50MP shots.

The Pro has WiFi 6, and so does the basic Reno 15. And there’s NFC and Infrared hardware on it. There’s also an optical fingerprint and stereo speaker system here. They’ve set the vanilla Reno 15’s price at Rs. 159,999 for the 12/256GB and Rs. 169,999 for the 12/512GB variant in Pakistan, a fair cost for such a premium device.

Oppo Reno 15 F

This option is the cheapest of the bunch, but it doesn’t make it any less premium. The screen is still an AMOLED 6.57”, and its refresh rate is 120Hz. We have Dragontrail-Star D+ glass for safety. Only the brightness goes down to 1,400 nits HBM on the Reno 15 F.

Well, the chipset is obviously a lot weaker on the F version. They have put an older Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC on it, but it does carry 5G support. Reno 15 F 5G’s camera is 50MP under the Main lens. It’s OIS stabilized with Autofocus.

The other two cameras are 8MP ultrawide and 2MP Macro. No telephoto here. That’s a trade-off you have to make for a cheaper cost. This may be the cheapest of all Reno models, but its selfie shooter is still 50MP, like the others.

Reno 15 F somehow has the largest battery of all at 7,000 mAh, which goes against the rankings. The charging speed is 80W, and the Android version is 16. An IP69 rating is here, and so are the stereo audio and NFC chip. Reno 15 F doesn’t have infrared or WiFi 6, sadly. This handset is priced at Rs. 119,999 in Pakistan for the single 8/256GB trim.
