Oppo Reno 14 Spotted on Geekbench with Chipset, RAM, and OS Version

Oppo usually introduces a new Reno lineup every six months, and if the company sticks with the same routine this year, we might see the Oppo Reno 14 series no later than June 2025. Reliable leaks in the past few days have helped us gather key details about the Oppo Reno 14. Now, the same phone has emerged on Geekbench to confirm SoC and RAM.

“PKZ110” is the model code assigned to Reno 14 by the company. The Geekbench listing we’ve found has the same number, as you can see at the top of this screengrab. The benchmark result for the Reno 14 was first discovered by Abhishek Yadav, the infamous leaker, who immediately shared his findings on X.

As it turns out, the company has decided to go with a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC for the Oppo Reno 14. It has up to 3.25 GHz clock speed, almost as fast as a flagship chip. There’s also an Immortalis Mali-G720 MC7 GPU built into this device, which is believed to be almost as powerful as an Adreno 735 from SD 8s Gen 3.

Reno 14 is definitely getting a performance upgrade with a new chip, but the same cannot be said for the Android version. Since Oppo returns with a Reno series two times a year, the latest Reno 14 will be stuck with the same Android 15. The system information section on the Geekbench scorecard confirms it. While the Oppo mobile price for the Reno 14 will reflect its premium positioning, the lack of a newer OS (e.g., Android 16) won’t yet be a differentiator, as no rivals offer it either.

This device is an upper midrange contender without a shred of doubt. It’s able to score 1612 points on a single core, which may not be as impressive, but the multicore result with 6404 points is something else entirely. These are the best scores we’ve seen so far in the segment.

There’s 12GB RAM on the device tested by Geekbench, though we will be seeing more variants, just like the Reno 13 before it. We already saw what this device looks like through a recent image leak. The Reno 14 is refreshing the camera island.

The leaker also provided a hint about Reno 14’s build. He says that Oppo Reno 14 is made out of metal, probably using Aluminum or Titanium — we are still waiting for confirmation. It seems the Reno series is following in Apple’s footsteps, and we are bound to see some resemblances between the iPhone and the Reno family in the future. Stay tuned if you don’t want to miss any new developments.
