Its 5G edition was previously introduced in Thailand. And OPPO has now followed up on it with a 4G model. The new OPPO A77 4G just debuted in India. Official channels have yet to verify it, but the phone should be headed to Pakistan next — given a typical release calendar.

Despite its entry-level status, the new successor of OPPO A76 has a few highlights to its name, namely dust/water resistance and a smooth display. We’re looking at a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with an underwhelming 720P resolution. But it peaks at a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a respectable 600 nits max brightness. The A77 4G is rated IP54 against dust and water — which means it can survive splashes and some dirt contamination.

The main wide-angle lens has a 50 MP sensor. It’s paired with a 2MP shooter for depth mapping. It’s all housed in a rectangular black casing on the back. Selfies are shot with an 8MP camera that lives inside the drop-notch cutout of the display.

You get 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM memory — virtually extended up to 4GB for better multitasking. The storage on the new OPPO 4G mobile uses a fast UFS 2.2 storage standard. Plus, the onboard microSD card slot allows for easy storage expansion. MediaTek Helio G35 processor (with PowerVR GE8320 GPU) is the engine inside OPPO A77.

OPPO A77 4G comes in flattering Sunset Orange (leather) and Sky Blue editions. It's all powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. OPPO promises a 50% top-up in just half an hour. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the side for convenient unlocking. It starts from ~ PKR 46,600.
