Fans in the international market didn’t have any luck with the Xiaomi 17 Pro lineup, but this year’s Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and standard Pro will be unveiled around the world. One of those global trims just made a cameo in Geekbench AI’s test database. The phone has a different model number from its Chinese counterpart.

The normal Pro didn’t make it to Geekbench, but the Pro Max did. Of course, we don’t see any reason why the basic Pro misses the global launch, so we’ll just assume it has an international variant as well. We’ll keep you in the loop if there’s any report suggesting otherwise.
Anyway, the Geekbench AI scorecard we found in the platform’s database had the model code right at the top. It says Xiaomi “2611FPNFAG.” The starting letters and numbers are definitely familiar. And right at the end, there’s a capital “G.” That seemingly minute detail is actually the big news for us fans.
G stands for global model here. That means the Xiaomi new 18 Mobile will hit the international market one day. We can already tell from the file that the Pro Max has a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip. Its AI NPU is being tested with 12GB of RAM.

That CPU has eight cores. And the power cores will actually boost to a clock speed of 5.01GHz. EU regulates phone batteries to a fault. So, the non-Chinese Xiaomi 18 Pro Max’s cell is reported to be 8500mAh, and the base Pro will get 7000mAh.
There’s Android 17 onboard, by the way. The newcomer probably has Xiaomi Hyper OS 4. They won’t really change the design just to make it available globally. So we hope to see the same 6.9” LTPO AMOLED again with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. And yes, it will have the 2.1” rear screen. Keep watching the news for more updates.
