Vivo Y50t launched with Snapdragon 720G, 48MP triple cameras, and 4,500mAh battery Meet Y50t — the newest addition to Vivo’s ever-growing roster of budget Y phones. The new sibling of Vivo Y53s was quietly released in China yesterday. The Y50t is an LTE phone featuring the brand’s next-gen OriginOS, Qualcomm silicon, and fast-charging support.

Vivo Y50t features a 6.58” hole-punched 1080P IPS LCD. It doesn’t offer a high refresh rate or HDR support. Plus, the contrast ratio is on the lower end.

Flip the phone over to reveal its glossy, polished shell. Vivo Y50t has chamfered edges, a compact camera plate, and a side power button pulling double duty as the fingerprint sensor.

You can choose from the gorgeous abstract blue and green-teal shades. The new budget Vivo mobile Y50t holds a 3.5mm audio jack and (surprisingly) a dated micro-USB port in its chassis. The dedicated SD card slot expands storage.

The three lenses aboard the camera platform are nothing to write home about. It’s a standard affair of one 48MP wide and two low-res cameras. Vivo has embedded an 8MP camera in the display. You can shoot in night mode and AI beauty modes.

At its heart, the Vivo Y50t has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. It’s a highly efficient chip built on an 8nm process node. You get 4GB of memory and 128GB of built-in storage. Everything is powered by a 4500 mAh battery and 18W quick charging. OriginOS 1.0 runs on this hardware. Vivo Y50t starts from ~ PKR 38,000.
