Don’t get confused by the names here. These are both identical phones, and their model numbers match, according to Google Play Console. The company has finally launched the awaited Vivo Y50e and Y50s in China. They are 5G devices with entry-level performance and big batteries. You’ll find all their specs down below.

These newcomers share most of the specs, as you will see in this overview. Their screens are the same 6.75” IPS LCDs with HD+ resolution. There’s a notch on the panel where the 5MP selfie camera is hidden. They did give these devices a 90Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals.
There is one difference between the two, which is the charging speed. Even though these newcomers have the same 6000mAh cells, the Y50e uses 15W charging, and the Vivo's new budget model has a much faster 44W input. They can both do reverse wired charging through the OTG.

Of course, they also share the same chipset, which is the Dimensity 6300. But that doesn’t mean they have similar storage options. The Y50e will only give you a 6GB and 128GB memory format with eMMC 5.1 storage. Vivo 50s has more than one option: 6/256GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB. And the storage is UFS 2.2 on all of them.

There’s no other difference to tell these newcomers apart. There’s only a 13MP rear camera on both Y50e and Y50s. They can’t shoot more than 1080p 30FPS videos. There’s a side fingerprint reader on either handset.

They don’t have newer Android systems. They have come to China, so they have their local Origin OS 5 (Android 15) out of the box. There’s an infrared remote on the Y50e and Y50s duo, even though these are both entry-level. That’s always appreciated.
These phones aren’t that thick either. Both are twin phones by design. They measure 204g with ~8.2mm thick frames. Vivo Y50e 5G is obviously cheaper. Only ~$215 (~PKR 60,000) for the 6/128GB trim. But the Vivo Y50s 5G starts at ~$260 (~PKR 73,000) for the 6/256GB option.
