The basic Tecno Spark 50 has been in Pakistan since May 2026. That device has a Pro variant, which is also coming to the local market soon. An official launch date was announced via a press release today. We’ll be seeing the Tecno Spark 50 Pro on September 10th.
Spark 50 Pro has two versions in the global market with separate capacities, and their use of “666” in the press release is a clue that they might deploy the 6000mAh variant in Pakistan. That cell apparently has 6 years of battery health retention above 80% at 1900 cycles.
There’s also a 60W charging kit inside the Spark 50 Pro, so the refills are quite fast, probably doing 63% in under 30 minutes, which is passable. A full charge would only take 55 minutes (according to reviews). Even bypass charging is present on the Spark 50 Pro. The phone is not really known for its performance, though. HiOS 16 with Android 16 is the default OS on this handset. They’ve put a Helio G100 Ultimate chip on this newcomer, which makes it a 4G LTE model. There are eight cores on the CPU, and two of them hit a 2.2 GHz boost clock. GPU is a Mali G57 MC2, of course.
This newcomer does have 8GB of RAM, so it’s adequate for multitasking at least. It’s just a plastic frame, though it is IP68 and IP69 waterproof. SGS even gave it a 5-star drop safety rating (1.5m fall height). All that, and the phone is still 7.8mm thick, which is a marvel.
The screen is the least impressive thing about the Tecno Spark 50 Pro. Yes, there is a punch hole on the display, but it’s still just a 720p HD+ IPS LCD. 6.78” screen does have a size advantage, at least, with a 120Hz refresh rate for better, fluid visuals.
Its camera is built around a Sony LYTIA 600 unit at 1/1.95” size. That’s the main 50MP unit, among a bunch of faux camera lenses. There’s an 8MP selfie camera in the front. Stereo speakers (DTS) and an IR blaster buff the spec sheet. They haven’t said anything about the newcomer’s local price. Keep watching the news for updates.
