A beige Apple iPhone 18 dummy has leaked today. This actually confirmed our hunch about its design. This is the cheapest model in the lineup, so it only gets two cameras, and now the camera island has been stretched, just like it did with the iPhone 17 Pro last year.
iPhone 17 had the same design as last year’s 16. Right then and there, experts started predicting that the big spiel for the iPhone 18 would be its matching design with the rest of its siblings. And it’s finally happening. They’ve moved on to a larger camera bar with two lenses.
That new design would also change the material and build quality. The whole body now has an Aluminum chassis. That unibody design is seen on the rest of the iPhones. iPhone 18 Duo is the top-shelf product and costs a fortune. iPhone 18 Pros also demand a premium, so it’s for the select demographic. But the vanilla iPhone 18 will be for the masses. The iPhone 17 was the world’s best-selling iPhone on the charts in Q2 2026.
iPhone 16 was in the same position in Q2 2025. This year’s big redesign could draw more attention to the iPhone 18, and it could become the best seller again.
