Vivo X90 Pro Plus is the world's first smartphone to officially debut the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, predominating a new generation of top-tier smartphones. With the launch event wrapped up, we now have the device's official pricing details and spec manifest.

Late yesterday, Vivo updated its landing page with a new product dubbed Vivo X90 Pro+ on the Chinese website. The profusion of multiple leaks and teasers ahead of the launch gave away minute details about the phone, leaving the critical in-depth specs to the imagination. The official listing presents a detailed overview.

With all components tailored to extremely cutting-edge specifications, the Vivo X90 Pro+ deserves the title of a true flagship. Vivo claims its refresh rate ranges between 1-120Hz, while its 6.7-inch 1440p Samsung E6 LTPO AMOLED screen produces a whopping 1,200Hz touch sampling rate and delivers 1,800 nits of peak brightness.

The chassis bears an IP68 rating adding a workable layer of splash and dirt endurance. At the bay, there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC powering the Vivo X90 Pro+, along with an 8,900 mm2 temperature keeper. The SoC teams with 12Gigs of the new standard LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage on the new acquisition to the Vivo rate list. The chipset's AI handles noise reduction, HDR, and MEMC interpolation.

Earlier leaks foretold Vivo x Zeiss' absolute top-of-the-line optical hardware on X90 Pro Plus, and as such, we are looking at a beastly phone camera headlined with a 1-inch 50 MP Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50 MP Sony IMX785 portrait with 2x optical zoom, a 48 MP ultra-wide, and a 64 MP (3.5x optical) zoom lens. It bags a 32MP sensor up front for selfies. Lens flare reduced to an absolute minimum.

Essential Vivo X90 Pro+ specs entail a 4700mAh battery, 70W charging, and an under-display biometric for security. The phone initially entered China with no news about the global entry. Slated for retail on December 6th, the device will start at CNY 6500 (US$910) or ~200,000 PKR. From its ancestors, only the standard variant made it to Pakistan and Vivo X80's current price in Pakistan is Rs. 169,999.
