Vivo V23 Updated to Android 14 with Several Design and Feature Enhancements

As promised, the company has initiated the rollout of the Android 14 update for Vivo V23, adhering to the mid-March 2024 timeline previously announced. The update brings multiple enhancements and optimizations, revamping the overall user experience. If you are also a V23 user, here’s everything you should know. 


Arriving as a sizable 5.5GB download, the company broadcasts the update as an OTA package. Vivo V23 users can access the latest features and improvements over the WiFi. Once installed, your device will show build PD2167DF_EX_A_14.2.10.3.W30, accompanied by the March 2024 security patch.

The extensive changelog encompasses a range of enhancements across various aspects of the user interface. Notable improvements include refinements to the lock screen clock with added customization options and added options in Albums with new video editing tools and filters.


Moreover, the update introduces a more intuitive popup window experience featuring convenient dragging, a new Mini Small Window mode, and the ability to open apps in split-screen mode. Additionally, users can expect improved Always On Display on the Vivo 5G's latest model.


Expanded control options in the Control Center with a brand-new design optimized for landscape mode. There are also Improved security and privacy features, such as App hiding mode for System and Play Store-installed applications.

The update also introduces new widgets and One-tap addition functionality, a refreshed home screen with a new color palette, and a few adjustments to the status bar area.
