After the global release of Tecno's Camon 17 Pro, the sequel to the brand's performance budget phone, Pova, debuted in the Philippines last month. The Tecno Pova 2 packs a massive display and battery. And it's landing in the Pakistani market soon.

Official sources recently went on record to tweet that the Tecno Pova 2 will be released in India first. While in Pakistan, the phone is not yet teased on any social media platform but the internal sources do confirm the phone to be heading towards Pakistan in August. Since Pova 2 has already debuted, we have a fair idea of what to expect.

To review, the big highlight of the Pova 2 is its incredible battery capacity. At 7000 mAh, the cell can last a day of heavy usage and more. The 18W power brick in the box quickly tops it up to 100% when you're running low.

MediaTek Helio G85 is at the heart of the phone, powered by 4GB/6GB of memory and 64GB/128GB of expandable internal storage. Tecno Pova 2 runs on HiOS, built on Android11, out of the box, and would come with an affordable Tecno mobile price tag.

The gaming experience is made immersive with the ET Game Engine onboard. Pova 2 also sports a responsive 180Hz touch sampling feature to cut down on display latency. We're looking at a 6.9" IPS LCD that delivers a full HD resolution and houses the front camera inside a centered hole punch.

Tecno Pova 2 has a flashy design, offered in blue, silver, and black colors. The backplate is finished in a subtle texture with a racing stripe running down the middle. At 9.62mm of depth, the 7000 mAh battery makes for a hefty build.

Pova 2's quad-camera lives inside a squared-off island. It's made of a 48MP wide lens and three sticker cameras to pad the count. It takes selfies with an 8MP front camera. The stock app supports night and 2K video modes.
