Tecno Pova 8 and Spark 50 Pro Spotted on TÜV with Battery Details

Tecno did reveal the Pova 8 in Barcelona when the MWC was in full swing, but there’s still no sign of its retail deployment. Anyway, this newcomer was just found on the TUV database, where we discovered its battery capacity. There was a listing for the unreleased Spark 50 Pro as well, which you may find interesting.

LK6 is the model code for the Tecno Pova 8. The TUV listing for it doesn’t say much about its features, but the file did spill its battery capacity. Well, it’s a massive upgrade. We remember the Pova 7 only had a 6000mAh battery, which was okay at the time.

Pova 8 will jump straight to a 7750 mAh battery size. We usually categorize any battery over 7000 mAh as a two-day runner. So this device has us curious. There’s a chance that the battery also uses Si/C content to make it thin and light. But that’s just a theory.

Of course, the Spark 50 Pro also sees a battery upgrade, but it’s not that big. Spark 50 Pro is the model code K05. There are apparently two variants for this newcomer. One has a 5800mAh cell. But the other is just a 5340 mAh version. Here you can find the latest Tecno smartphone prices, which depend on the series, ranging from entry-level to premium models.

Spark 40 Pro from last year was built around a 5200 mAh battery only. So the lucky regions where the 5800 mAh Spark 50 Pro will be deployed gain a massive advantage. The other version could add one or two hours of extra screen time to the device.

By the way, the non-Pro version of the Spark 50 was already unveiled, and it had a 6500mAh battery. The Pro version having a smaller battery could ruffle some feathers. A 45W fast charge input is used on the Spark 50 5G. And this newcomer has an IP64 Pro rating with a Shockproof Military Equipment test rating. Spark 50 Pro and Poav 8 could be announced any day now. So keep watching the news for updates.
