Samsung Galaxy S25 Grabs April 2026 Security Patch Before Stable One UI 8.5 Update

Samsung Galaxy S25 series grabbed the April 2026 security patch right off the bat. The Galaxy S26 series was updated first, but now the same OTA package is being deployed for the entire previous generation. That means all three S25 phones will soon receive the new firmware globally.

They are restricting the update to their home base, South Korea, for now. We know from a leak that the firmware version being pushed there is “S938NKSS9BZCH.” That number usually changes by region. Anyway, we can ascertain from all this that the Pakistani market will see this update within a few weeks.

By the way, it’s too early to know what exactly is being patched through this update. Samsung hasn’t really unveiled the list of fixes to the public. The update is, after all, only being pushed to the latest Samsung 5G model devices for now.

We may have the full details once they unlock the April 2026 patch for the global S25 or S26 series. You have to check for updates manually in the settings from time to time to see if that patch has arrived in your region. The same goes for Pakistani S25 owners.

Tap Settings and scroll down where you’ll find the option “ Software Updates.” “Check for Updates” in the menu if it’s just a blank page. When there is something available to download, a changelog will appear with a Download and Install option. And that’s your ticket to the April 2026 firmware.

Only a few patches are left till you hit the official One UI 8.5 version for the Galaxy S25 lineup. They have been testing the software in the Beta version for a while. They have pushed at least eight One 8.5 beta updates to the testers, so they are surely getting ready for a stable release soon. Keep watching the news.
