Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Expected Prices in Pakistan (Leaked Online); Meet Samsung's Next Affordable 5G

As per Samsung's official announcement last year, the entire Galaxy A lineup is being revamped with 5G. The 5G editions for premium mid-range and budget Galaxy A phones have already made their debut; now comes the first entry-level 5G phone, the Samsung Galaxy A22. WhatMobile has extensively covered the leaks surrounding the A22 5G, and as the launch inches closer, we also have the pricing to report.

The publication DealNTech, citing a European store listing as their source, notes that the 64GB base storage edition of the Galaxy A22 5G starts from 185 euros (~ Rs. 35,000.) This price doesn’t include the value-added tax, which would bring the total up to 199 euros (~ Rs. 37,800) and perhaps as high as 229 euros (~ Rs. 43,500) in certain markets and that's a lot comparing it with Samsung Galaxy A32. At any rate, it shows that Samsung is trying to up the ante with competitive prices in a market flooded by budget 5G phones out of China.

For most smartphone-makers, the Dimensity 700 has become the chipset of choice for their entry-level 5G phones in the recent past. And the Galaxy A22 5G is no exception. It also uses the 7nm MediaTek silicon and powers it with a 5000 mAh battery. The phone carries 6GB of memory for multitasking and 15W fast-charging support.

The handset is expected to join the Samsung price list real soon. The sources previously published the official-looking press renders for the Galaxy A22 5G. The A22 comes in four color options — mint, violet, black, and white.

It has a side-facing thumbprint reader and three cameras laid out inside a squarish camera plate. We’re looking at an array of 48MP wide, 5MP ultra-wide, and 2MP secondary lenses.
