Shortly after pinging the latest Android 13 update to the entry-level Samsung Galaxy A13, Samsung quickly picks the pace updating the sub-entry-tier phone, Galaxy A03. The most affordable Samsung phone finally updates the firmware from OneUI 4.1 x Android 12 to OneUI 5.0 x Android 13.

The OTA is currently doing rounds in Europe, with Serbia being the first market to update Samsung Galaxy A03 mobiles to Android 13. OneUI overhaul includes the latest security patch to cover newborn Knox security vulnerabilities.

Galaxy A03 latest update takes the firmware version to "A035FXXU2CVL4." After completing a round trip in Europe, Samsung might start rolling out OneUI 5.0 update in the Asian markets, whence users will receive a notification to initiate the process. To manually start the installation, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap "download and install."

The latest Samsung 4G mobiles are not cheap by any means, but one of the perks of having them is the after-sales services, which include continuous security patches and OS updates. Android 13 on A03 brings a smarm of new features. Here's a brief rundown.

In addition to the new Color Palette feature, the Galaxy A03's UI design has included a new stacked widgets feature, locking screen customization, and enhanced notifications bar blur effects. The UI also updates Samsung default apps to their latest versions.

Samsung has improved the smoothness of animations & transitions and overhauled the camera app. The Gallery app now allows album customization. The interface now welcomes users with more photo and video editing options. Text OCR from the live camera and stored images is now more accurate. Language settings per-app basis and background activities checker in the recent menu is an additional feature on OneUI 5.0.
