Realme 16 Pro Series is Officially Headed to Pakistan with 200MP Camera & 7000mAh Battery

Realme 16 Pro series is already being teased for Pakistani launch, just as we predicted. And we know at least two devices in the lineup that have Pro labels. They’re going to unveil the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro Plus in Pakistan soon. These handsets are already available globally, so we know each and everything about their specs.

The pattern will hold. Global markets saw the Realme 16 Pro series before the company pushed out the vanilla Realme 16. The same thing is about to happen in Pakistan, only much later. They’ve only teased the Pro series so far. So that’s the topic we’ll focus on.

Realme 16 Pro+ has the best hardware. Its middle frame is constructed out of aluminium alloy. The screen on this latest Realme 5G mobile is bigger and less rounded at the corners, but it does look more premium with a 6.8” AMOLED 144Hz 1800 nits (HBM) panel. The resolution is 1.5K (1280 x 2800p). It’s quite sharp as well.

The main reason most will choose the Realme 16 Pro+ is a faster Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. That’s a 2.8GHz semi-flagship SoC with 1.2million AnTuTu points. They wired it to a 7000mAh Si/C battery, and its maximum charging speed is 80W. It’s an IP69K build with 8.1mm thickness.

One of those cameras on the back has a 200MP OIS sensor. And that’s followed by a 50MP 3.5X (periscope telephoto), and an 8MP ultrawide. By the way, telephoto is not available on the basic Realme 16 Pro. There’s a 50MP selfie camera here, and the Realme 16 Pro+ is the only one that can do 4K@60 FPS video on both sides.

Then comes the standard plastic-frame Realme 16 Pro with a flat 6.78” AMOLED. It’s more rounded at the corners, but with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The HBM brightness is a bit lower, though, at 1400 nits. Also, the standard Pro version is only 7.8mm thin (vs. 8.1mm on Pro+).

A Dimensity 7300 Max SoC is put inside the Realme 16 Pro. So it’s the second fastest model in this series. They skipped the pericope zoom camera on the Pro. They bet that Realme 16 Pro’s 200MP main shooter can produce at least 2X lossless zoom photos. The second camera is an 8MP ultrawide.

At least the 50MP selfie camera is something both phones share. Realme 16 Pro’s battery is also 7000mAh (Si/C) with 80W charging. Realme UI 7 or Android 16 comes by default on each handset. Both are IP69K-rated with an optical fingerprint reader. The exact launch date will be confirmed soon. So keep watching the news.
