The company refreshes its numbered lineup twice a year. Right on Realme 15 Pro’s 6-month mark, they’ve now debuted the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro Plus. There aren’t many upgrades in the lineup, but they did bump the camera resolution to 200MP on both models. Here’s all you need to know about Realme 16 Pro and Pro+.

Realme 16 Pro Plus
This one looks more premium with a curved screen. Realme 16 Pro Plus is built around a 3D AMOLED 6.8” display that has a 144Hz refresh rate. The local peak brightness is 6,500 nits, though the phone only hits up to 1,800 nits in HBM mode. The resolution is 1.5K, just like the previous models.

The Pro+ also has a faster Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. That’s a 4nm platform, and Realme 15 Pro also had the same SoC last time. As we said before, there aren’t a lot of upgrades in this generation. There’s the same 7,000 mAh battery here, plus 80W fast charging.

They may not have improved the phone’s performance, but the camera is certainly on a whole new level. Both these Realme 16 Pro devices have 200MP cameras. This Pro+ version brings the same 200MP primary camera, but there’s also a 50MP 3X telephoto shooter on its back. The third lens is an 8MP ultrawide.
The screen punch hole is home to a 50MP selfie snapper. And this Realme 16 Pro Plus can record 4K videos, front and back. There’s Android 16 on it or Realme UI 7. Infrared remote and screen fingerprint reader are the features you will see on both devices. Realme 16 Pro+ is priced at around $466 (~PKR 130,000) for the base (8/256GB) option.
Realme 16 Pro
The Pro has a flat AMOLED display, not curved. The screen size is also a bit smaller at 6.78”, but it has a similar 1.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. You’ll also have the same 6500 nits local peak brightness with 1400 nits HBM limit. Each device has a full DCI-P3 color gamut range and 1 billion colors.

When we talk about the Realme 16 Pro, its performance is slightly lower because it runs a Dimensity 7300 Max chip. This is also a 4nm platform, but the clock speed is only 2.5 GHz. The RAM type is LPDDR5X, and the storage is UFS 3.1. That’s true for both phones here.

Something else they have in common is the 7,000 mAh cell, which is wired with an 80W charging kit. They also have the same Android 16 OS with at least 3 years of OS support down the road. The Pro doesn’t have a telephoto, though. Its Main shooter is a 200MP OIS with only an 8MP shooter for ultrawide photos.
These two devices share the same 50MP selfie camera and IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings. There’s only WiFi 5 on the basic Pro version, with an infrared remote and screen fingerprint reader. The lower specs drop the Realme 16 Pro’s price tag to ~$355 (~PKR 99,500) for the 8/128GB trim. Both devices have hit the Indian market first, but they are surely on the way to more countries.
