Oppo Reno series usually splits into standard and Pro devices, but this year, we’ll be seeing a Pro+ option on the Reno 15 series. This new lineup should debut in China by late November or early December. Digital Chat Station found some preliminary details about these newcomers and reaffirmed the existence of the Reno 15 Pro+ handset.

The Reno 15 series includes at least three devices, and among them, the Reno 15 Pro Plus will be the most expensive. The second rank obviously goes to Reno 15 Pro, and at the bottom of the totem pole, we have the vanilla Reno 15 as always. Be advised that Oppo might also release an “F” model down the line, but there’s no confirmation yet.

Each model can be distinguished by size. The standard Reno 15 Pro is just a 6.31” LTPS AMOLED panel, which can be categorized as a compact build. The Pro Plus has a bigger 6.78” LTPO screen, a true dynamic refresh rate panel for extreme efficiency. This feature is usually reserved for flagship devices, so expect the newcomer to be premium.

The latest Oppo Reno mobile’s screen is halfway as big at 6.59” with LTPS tech on an AMOLED panel. All the displays we talk about here actually have 1.5k resolutions and 2.5D quad-curve glass at the front. Each model will have a cold, carved glass on its back with cameras popping out.

The leaker’s post on Weibo shared the camera sensor that might be on the way to the Reno 15 Pro and 15 Pro Plus. Chances are, the company will use a Samsung HP5 200MP outsole on these phones. This will be the main shooter. All three handsets are supposed to have 50MP periscope telephoto lenses.

We still have a lot more to discover about this series. The Reno 15 series is close to launch, so expect more data to be exposed by the year’s end. Let’s wait and see how many of DCS’s claims are true. Keep watching the news for updates.
