OnePlus recently partnered with United Mobile to officially bring OnePlus products to Pakistan. Many of the previous-gen flagships and mid-range phones are already up for sale via this distributor. And as per their latest announcement, the OnePlus 9 series will launch in Pakistan in May 2021.

OnePlus 9 series currently features no less than four models: OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9R, and OnePlus 9E. But the rollout will begin with the standard and Pro editions. Here’s what this duo has to offer.

OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro feature 48MP wide cameras (assisted with OIS and laser AF in the Pro edition), 50MP ultra-wide lenses, and 2MP mono cameras. The Pro also has a dedicated OIS-powered telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom capacity. For selfies, we’re looking at a 16MP front camera.

OnePlus co-engineered the flagship cameras this year with the high-end optics firm Hasselblad to give its smartphone photography an edge over the competition. Hasselblad's contribution goes beyond the hardware and into the image processing software for better color calibration on the new OnPlus mobile 2021.

The screens have hole-punches in them to encase their selfie cameras. OnePlus 9’s display is flat, but it curves along the edges in the OnePlus 9 Pro. This curved display is an AMOLED LTPO panel capable of dynamically adapting to a 120Hz refresh rate. It produces a QHD+ resolution, supports HDR10+ content, and peaks at 1300 nits of brightness. The OnePlus 9 has a more straightforward 6.55” FHD+ screen, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and 1100 nits of brightness.

Both phones run on 4500 mAh batteries with 65W blazing fast wired charging (50W wireless charging in the Pro and 15W in the base variant.) Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is present at their hearts, running on the Android11-based OxygenOS.
