Infinix Zero X Series is Coming to Pakistan Next Month; Here is the Tentative Release Timeline & Pricing

The global rollout of the first premium line of smartphones from Infinix has just begun. Infinix Zero X series hit store shelves in Nigeria. In the days that follow, it's headed to Egypt and Thailand. Trusted sources inform WhatMobile that it's soon landing in Pakistan too.

We expect the Zero X series to launch nationwide in the first ten days of October, but a concrete release timeline has yet to present itself. The Zero X lineup features three models: the Zero X, Zero X Neo, and Zero X Pro. But only the Zero X and Zero X Pro have been introduced in Nigeria. Infinix Zero X Neo could be similarly delayed in Pakistan too.

Periscope-style zoom lenses are featured across the board in this series. The OIS-powered telephoto cameras offer 5x lossless optical zooming, allowing for the so-called Super Moon Mode. The main lenses (108MP on the Zero X Pro and 64MP on the Zero X) are also stabilized with OIS to deliver shake-free video and flawless low-light shots.

The Infinix Zero X Pro and its standard sibling share the same body and screen. We are looking at a 6.67” OLED panel with a high contrast ratio, 700 nits of peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, responsive 240Hz touch sampling, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The blue light filtering feature is TÜV Rheinland certified.

The shell is crafted from two glass panels sandwiched between a plastic frame. No extra durability of Gorilla Glass is seen here, so you will have to slap on a case. It's offered in Nebula Black and Starry Silver colors. But the Pro also comes in a third Tuscany Brown finish. MediaTek Helio G95 — their top-end 4G chip — is at the heart of Infinix Zero X and Zero X Pro. It’s powered by a 4500 mAh battery and 45W wired charging. No NFC support is available, but the dual speakers deliver stereo sound.

The baseline Zero X starts at NGN 151,000, and the Pro model is priced at NGN 187,800. Due to the huge amount of taxes on the imported phones in Nigeria, a direct conversion to Pakistani rupees would not work. WhatMobile expects the Zero X could cost around Rs. 34,000 to Rs. 39,000 in Pakistan while the Zero X Pro could start from 42,000 to 49,000 PKR.
