Only a few months are left till the Xiaomi 17 Pro gets a successor. September could be the month when they unveil the Xiaomi 18 series in China. There are possibly three devices in the lineup. It seems tipsters have taken a special interest in the Xiaomi 18 Pro version. Today, we’ve almost all of its specs in a leak.

A Weibo post was made by Digital Chat Station, which added more to the existing rumor that Xiaomi 18 Pro is about to get a tad larger 6.4” AMOLED. The new leak says it’s probably an ultra-clear screen with very narrow and symmetrical bezels.
There’s an Ultrasonic fingerprint reader on the screen this time. So it’s basically just as good as the current screen. Though the real question is: will this newcomer retain the rear screen? Some leaks believe that it will. They might try to make it more functional with the means of AI.

The performance is backed by a 2nm chip this time. It’s possibly the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series SoC. They might also shove a bigger battery inside the Xiaomi 18 Pro, though the exact size wasn’t exposed by DCS in today’s leak. He did give a charging figure. Here you can see the updated Xiaomi Rate List and stay informed about the latest smartphone prices across Pakistan.

The phone will use a 100W input to refill the tank. And it’s not just wired charging. The Xiaomi 18 Pro might also have 100W wireless input. All the 18 series phones will have a 200MP camera in one form or another. We hear the basic Xiaomi 18 is getting one for the main lens.

The Pro models could wield dual 200MP sensors, by the way: one for the main shooter and the other in a periscope telephoto camera. More specific to the Pro, the leak actually reveals a 200MP smartsense outsole main LOFIC camera and a 50MP ultrawide, next to another 200MP periscope telephoto lens.
DCS couldn’t give the exact figure, though other leaks have pegged the 18 Pro’s battery at around 7000 mAh. The Chinese launch might happen in September, but we are more interested in the global debut, which might be dragged till the end of this year. Keep watching the news for updates.
