September will be packed with flagship releases this year, and we hear the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be among the phones to be unveiled during the window. Leaks have been slowly piling up for the whole lineup. And we actually found a summary of all the specs that might show up on the Xiaomi 18 Pro. This is everything you need to know.
There’s a Pro version and a base Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. Both chips are 2nm, so we aren’t really sure which one is coming to the Xiaomi 18 Pro. It wasn’t mentioned outright, but this is clearly the SoC Digital Chat Station has hinted at in his Weibo post.
It would seem the Pro will use a small screen again, and it will be a flat AMOLED with big, rounded corners and very thin bezels around it. They’ll go all out on the camera. It’s possible that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will put not one, but dual 200MP cameras on the back.
DCS said it’s an ultra-large 200MP main camera, though it’s just hyperbole and not the exact number for the sensor size itself. There will be a large 200MP periscope telephoto macro on the back as well. But is there enough space on the back to put these huge sensors and a second screen?
Nowhere did the leaker say anything about the rear screen on the Xiaomi new 18 mobile. It’s reasonable to assume that it’s absent, but we don’t want to color your opinions. Wait for more sources to confirm it first. Anyway, the leak also had the battery and charging speed.
It seems that the Xiaomi 18 Pro has a cell in the 7,000 mAh range. And there will be a 100W charging backup, wired and wireless. There might also be a bigger motor on it for haptic feedback, and they have probably upgraded the dual speakers.
No screen size was given in this leak, though reports from other sources have pegged the 18 Pro with a 6.4” OLED, so it’s actually larger than the Xiaomi 17 Pro’s 6.3” screen.
