Vivo V60 is Headed to Pakistan in Three Days; Countdown Officially Begins

The company has started teasing the Vivo V60 in Pakistan. Only three days are left till the launch, and Vivo’s latest post on Facebook starts the clock. Its price tag for the local market is a secret, but the rest of its details have already been listed on a dedicated microsite. This is what you can expect from the newcomer.

Vivo V60 has a quad-curve design on both the front and back. The camera layout is familiar, mimicking the X200 FE. The chamfered rear panel and rounded edges give this phone a premium look, not to forget its gorgeous Equal Depth Quad Curve AMOLED on its front.

This 6.77” AMOLED has deep inky blacks and FHD+ resolution. The bezels are trimmed and uniform, HDR10+ is supported, and it refreshes at 120Hz. Its peak brightness is 5000nits, though it can’t hit more than 1500nits HBM under normal use. Vivo plans to release it in Mist Grey and Desert Gold colors.

The Vivo new V model’s biggest upgrade is the addition of a new 50MP (IMX882) telephoto lens, which is OIS stabilized and zooms to about a 3.5x range. Those other lenses remain the same as last year: 50MP (Main) + 8MP (ultrawide). Vivo sticks to a 50MP outsole for the selfie snapper. All these cameras can record 4K 30 FPS videos.

The camera gear is ZEISS-calibrated. These lenses have T* coating, and the software has the camera company’s color science with dedicated filters. Vivo spices up the imaging experience with its AI Four-Season Portrait, which slips in generative seasonal backgrounds in the images.

Vivo V60 can be fully submerged in water since it scores an official IP68/IP69 rating. The company has upgraded the cell to 6500mAh capacity this year, but it uses the same 90W PD input as before. Something else that’s new on the V60 is an Infrared port.

The phone runs an official Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15) firmware. Vivo has pledged at least four years of Android updates for the V60. A Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 gives this newcomer a near-flagship-class performance. Early next week, Vivo will release this phone in the Pakistani market. Its price will be revealed then. Stay tuned for the full coverage once it goes official.
