The company wants to unveil the Vivo V60 in Pakistan shortly. The exact date hasn’t been announced, but we did come across an official press release, a few teasers on their Facebook page, and a microsite that gives away its specs. Vivo V60 is as close as you can get to a flagship device. Here’s what it offers.
You’ll recognize this design, especially the camera layout, from the Vivo X200 FE, which recently hit the Pakistani market. Looks-wise, the only difference is the colors and thickness. Vivo V60 has an ergonomic design that facilitates its slim body with a quad-curve screen at the top.
Vivo will release this handset in Mist Grey and Desert Gold colors. Up front, we have an AMOLED 6.77” display at FHD+ resolution. Its bezels are trimmed, HDR10+ is supported, and it provides smooth visuals at 120Hz. The brightness peaks at around 5000nits, but usually sticks to 1500nits HBM for normal use.
That hole-punch cutout is home to a 50MP selfie shooter. The usual 50MP Main and 8MP Ultrawide rear camera setup is still available in the Vivo latest V model, but all the momentum around V60 is because of a new 50MP (IMX882) telephoto lens. It’s OIS stabilized and zooms to about a 3.5x range.
Its selfie shooter gets a wider 92-degree FOV, which is a nice addition for group selfies. This is a small sensor, yet it records 4K 30FPS videos. Vivo’s Aura Ring LED is a signature addition on the V60. Users will also find ZEISS optical treatment and AI Four-Season Portraits on this handset.
The Pakistani V60 will have the global Funtouch 15 (Android 15) firmware. Vivo has promised at least four years of Android updates on this newcomer. Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform handles the system with a 2.8GHz clock speed and eight cores.
Vivo V60 is IP69 rated. It guarantees 360-degree hot water jet protection and full water submersion. The company has mounted a Si/C 6500mAh battery here, which uses a 90W input for recharging. We are still waiting on the official price tag, although it won’t be a secret for long. Keep watching the news.
