Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to Debut with Bigger Screen & Nearly Invisible Bezels

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra already has one of the best-looking smartphone displays out there, but apparently, it still has some room for improvement. The next year’s Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to shrink the bezels and stretch the display ever so slightly, per the new leak by Ice Universe.

The leaker shared details about the potential upgrades on Twitter/X. He says that the new display on the Galaxy S26 Ultra has slimmer bezels, which leaves a bit more room for the screen to grow. The changes are minor, but the slimmer borders always look more premium and could help Samsung win a spot on DXOMark’s yearly rankings.

If the leaker is right, Samsung could trim the bezel width to 1.15 or 1.2mm. And since the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra already has uniform borders around the panel, its measurement will be the same on all four sides. It has the potential to increase the screen size, even if the Ultra keeps the dimensions identical to last year.

We hear the screen size on the Samsung Ultra new model is also bumped from 6.86” to 6.89” with just a tiny 0.03” difference. This isn’t official, but the leaker did preface his claim by saying the size disparity is calculated with the help of the proposed bezel shrinkage.

The Chinese leaker has a solid track record with leaks, and the suggested display changes could pan out. But, as always, we suggest taking this news with caution until we hear from the company itself. The leak spree has been going on for weeks, so we have some more details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra that you might be interested in.

We hear gossip that the phone might finally upgrade its telephoto 5X optical sensor to a 50MP resolution. This is a major change over the previous 10MP cell, which was certainly not competitive enough to keep up with the Chinese brands. Take Vivo X200 Ultra, for example, which has a whopping 200MP telephoto sensor on the back.

There aren’t too many surprise changes on the horizon, at least not the ones that are noticeable. The phone will be more nimble with a slightly thinner build, but it’s supposed to use the same 5000mAh battery as last year. We have our ears to the ground in case something new appears on the web. Stick around if you want to stay in the loop.
