Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Passes 3C Certification; Shows 60W Fast Charging Support

There’s no more doubting the 60W charging theory for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. They just got the phone certified at 3C, and we have proof that this newcomer will finally bump the input speeds to 20V x 3A. That new 60W Samsung charger we saw in official listings all over Europe is actually made for the S26 Ultra.

3C is a Chinese certifier, and whenever a phone’s listed on their database, charging speeds are exposed. Well, the Galaxy S26 Ultra just made a cameo there. It not only proved that the phone will head to China ultimately, but it also pretty much guarantees a 20V DC and 3A charging kit on it.

Multiply those figures, and you get a maximum 60W support. Of course, there are more inputs listed at 10W, 15W, 25W, and even 45W. The speed will depend on what charger you use. There’s not going to be one included in the box; that’s for sure.

That 60W charger we talked about in our previous report is an extra 53 Euro accessory on top of an already expensive phone. But there is one upside to this. Samsung says that you can recharge pretty much every Galaxy device you have in your arsenal — GalaxyBooks included.

The thin GalaxyBooks have 65W charging input already, and this new 60W charger almost makes up for it. The benefits are two-fold. Anyway, the listing had more to share. 3C has confirmed that the new Samsung Ultra mobile will bring Satellite Connection.

FCC has also certified all three Galaxy S26 models, and the database has confirmed earlier speculations. Galaxy S26 Ultra, in the US and other international markets, will have the SM8850 SoC. That’s the serial code for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.

It’s a different story for the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus, though. Samsung may deploy Exynos 2600 variants for each phone, but only in the home market. Outside South Korea, though, every other country will receive the same SM8850 chip on S26, S26 Plus, and the S26 Ultra.
