Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Appears in First Teasers, Shows Privacy Glass in Action

Samsung has already begun teasing the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The first batch of promos is all about the phone’s privacy or its anti-peeping technology that’s built into the display. The rumors were true. The Galaxy S26 Ultra does have the industry’s first built-in privacy glass.

By the way, those first three teasers are short clips. And they all advertise how this anti-peeping feature works. The first one shows how the privacy glass keeps your password visible from the front while unlocking the phone. But if someone’s peeping from the side, it’s completely invisible.

It’s the same case if you have set a pattern to unlock. You can use the privacy feature to hide it from others. But we don’t see the appeal for any of these scenarios when you have an ultrasonic fingerprint reader to unlock your Samsung latest Ultra mobile

Now, the same feature keeps others from seeing your messages. That is something we can see being commonly adopted. It could very well be a toggle in the Settings somewhere that lets you turn on the feature. Or at least that’s what the rumor mill has predicted.

All three clips end with a similar outro. The text "smartphone" appears at the end, and an eraser tool circles the word “Smart” and replaces it with AI. They will be calling the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the other siblings AI phones. We suspect this will be an even bigger push at AI than ever before.

The suspected February 25th launch is also true, it seems. That’s the date predicted by notorious leaker Evan Blass. It is the day Galaxy S26 ultra will debut, hopefully with a WQHD+ 6.9” OLED. Samsung has put a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip on the Ultra.

We hear they are sticking with the same 5,000 mAh battery on the S26 Ultra this year. But the charging is bumped from 45W to 60W. There are four possible sensors on the back, and a 12MP selfie. The rear lenses have 200MP (main), 50MP (periscope telephoto), 12MP (standard telephoto), and 50MP (ultrawide). The Ultra’s entry price is allegedly $1,299 (~PKR 364,000).
