Android 17 One UI 9 was unveiled for the Samsung Galaxy A57 last week. But it was only pushed to the South Korean market so far. That’s no longer the case, apparently. A European model was seen running One UI 9 stable, which makes it official.
This OS will reach more regions eventually. But of course, we have to be patient, especially in Pakistan, where the updates tend to arrive late. Anyway, the firmware that was seen on the European Galaxy A57 had the serial “A576BXXU6BZIE.” The code may look a little different in other places.
This update is for the latest Samsung A model. That’s the international version, which happens to be the same model that ships in Pakistan. One UI 9 update size is 2,315.25MB (from the changelog). This is the stable OS version, so we’ll be getting the same new features in our region.
There are tons of UI changes. And the quick panel is especially more customizable in the One UI 9 update. There are some new features in the Notes App. There’s now a location privacy indicator in the corner, and accessibility features got a few new additions.
Of course, this update has a September 2026 security patch as well, if you haven’t had a chance to update the security yet. The firmware had 90 weak point fixes in total that got fixed: 58 from Google and 31+1 from Samsung/Samsung Foundry. This update is crucial from a security standpoint as well.
Pakistani Galaxy A57 users should also take note. This update is pretty easy to install. A notification will alert you when the stable One UI 9 is available. And if that doesn’t happen. “Check for Updates” manually. Head on over to Settings and scroll all the way down to Software Update. That’s where you’ll find the “Download and Install” button when it’s done scanning for an update. Press that button, and you are good to go. Keep watching the news for more.
