It hasn’t been long since we came across the Galaxy A57 and A37’s entire color palette in a leak. There has been an update. Android Headlines has found most of the specs featured on the A57 and A37. And their report confirmed our worst fears. Samsung doesn’t plan any major changes for this year’s lineup.

They are obviously bumping the SoC and Android versions on each phone. But those are yearly obligatory hardware upgrades. The phones are almost the same as last year’s A56 and A36 if you keep the comparison purely about the numbers. But if it’s hardware you are concerned about, prepare to be disappointed.
We are sure Samsung has cooked up some fantastic software and AI features for Galaxy A57 and A37, but they won’t be enough this time to convince Galaxy users to upgrade. They will bump the default system to Android 16 and One UI 8.5. That build is already stable and released on the Galaxy S26 series.

A faster Exynos 1680 chip is coming to the Galaxy A57. That’s a 2.91 GHz Octacore platform. This newcomer’s edging the flagship performance. Samsung's latest 5G mobile is left far behind with a two-generation-old Exynos 1480 silicon, which is modestly better than last year’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.

Here’s the worst part. Galaxy A57 and A37 will end up getting the same 5000mAh batteries and charging speeds as the A56 and A36. No visual upgrades are coming either, as the report confirms a 6.7” AMOLED and 120Hz refresh rate on each handset.

Galaxy A3x phones usually start at above Rs 100,000 in Pakistan. But you are only getting 6GB base RAM with 128GB storage for that exorbitant price. Ideally, you’ll have to pay way more for the 8/256GB trim or go with another brand. By the way, Galaxy A57’s storage options mirror the A37. There’s more bad news.
They may optimize the processing pipeline for better images. But the camera hardware will mostly remain the same. The only difference will be a sharper, Ultrawide 12MP sensor for the A37 (vs 8MP on A36). 50MP (Main) + 5MP (Macro) + 12MP still are still the same. Yes, Galaxy A57’s camera setup will match the A37 one-to-one. Keep watching the news for more updates.
