Samsung Galaxy A57 Shows a Larger Vapor Chamber in Leaked Teardown Image

Samsung still hasn’t said a word about the Galaxy A57 or A37. Yet the rumor mill has found these devices in the wild more than once. Another image has surfaced, and it’s basically a teardown photo of the Galaxy A57 to showcase the upgraded vapor chamber.

It was the X leaker @Alfartuk who posted this leak. The image is actually just a side-by-side comparison of two former devices and the new Galaxy A57. They’ve removed the backplate to expose the vapor chamber on all three phones.

Notice the Gold yellow strip in the middle section. That’s the cooling chamber. And you can see it growing generation after generation. The latest Samsung A model would need cooling for the new Exynos 1680 chip. That’s probably why the vapor chamber is the largest on this newcomer.

A larger vapor chamber will keep the A57 from throttling the performance. And we all know Exynos chips run a little hotter than Snapdragon silicon. The new processor is actually a 2.91 GHz octacore chip. It may also deliver an RDNA 4 iGPU. Exynos 1680 will need all the cooling it can get.

We’ve been keeping tabs on this device, by the way. And it’s not the first Galaxy A57 leak out of the pipeline. An unboxing video was found on TikTok that exposed all its color options and the two storage trims meant for the Thai market. The source even revealed the pricing.

We are now certain that Galaxy A57 has at least 12/256GB and 12/512GB versions at the higher-end. These aren’t the starter options, which is why the former costs $548 and the latter is around $609. We have converted these prices from Thai Baht.

Gray, Icy Blue, Lilac, Navy are the color options to look out for when it comes to the Galaxy A57. The phone still has the same battery and charging speed as last time. They might upgrade the ultrawide or selfie camera on the A57. But no major upgrades are on the cards this year. Keep watching the news updates.
