Being the second-best software support provider, Samsung consistently releases OTA updates to Galaxy Mobiles. Moments ago, the Korean giant rolled out the October security patch to eligible Brazillian, Columbian, and Dominican Samsung Galaxy A32 5Gs, following the standard A32 4G's October overhaul globally which hasn't yet reached Pakistan.
Samsung's 4-year commitment only goes for devices such as the Galaxy A33 5G officially sold within 2022, unlike the A32 4G and 5G, launched earlier in 2021. Originally running on Android 11 out of the box, the device will edge away with 2023's Android 13 x OneUI 5 OS upgrade. Following that, the chain might send a few monthly OTAs to A32.
Moving back to A32 5 G's overdue October security patch, the device bumps the firmware version to A326BXXS4BVJ1. The latest update secures A32's vulnerabilities, susceptible to dozens of privacy and data breaches. It covers over 50 security fixes, one critical, and 31 high-priority patches guarding call information, the device's serial number, configuration data, and secure memory content access.
The update doesn't cover any bug fixes. The new 4G firmware version should also be heading down to A32's Pakistani counterparts. Upon arrival, Paki users will receive an alert to initiate the installation. For Samsung's all new model phones, the process is the same, open the Settings app on the Samsung Galaxy mobile, click "Software updates," and tap "Download and Install." Your phone will handle the rest.
To recall A32's specifications, its ranges between 4/6/8GB of memory and 64GB/128GB of expandable storage variants. A 5000 mAh, supporting 15W fast charging, powers the Galaxy A32 5G. With a TFT panel laid out on top, it caps resolution at 720p. It features a 48MP f/1.8 wide camera, an 8MP 123˚ lens, a 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP sensor for depth perception. The front camera uses a 13MPsensor for selfies.
