After its successful debut in India, the Realme 8 series is headed to Pakistan next. Realme Pakistan is readying for an event to introduce the new phones. According to WhatMobile’s sources, this launch is slated for the last week of April. Official announcements should follow in the coming weeks before the actual event.

Realme 8

The Realme 8 goes for a love-it-or-hate-it striking aesthetic — iridescent strip with the ‘Dare to Leap’ branding printed on it, shimmery accents around the camera plate, and a mirror silver finish to round it all off. At 177g and 7.9mm, it has slim dimensions to complement the flashy design.

The screen has a hole-punch cutout, 1000 nits of peak brightness, and a full HD resolution. Realme 8’s 6.4” display operates on a standard refresh rate but offers a responsive touch sampling rate. Plus, there’s an in-display fingerprint scanner built into the panel.

Realme 8 uses a 64M f/1.79 wide camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro sensor, a 2MP B&W lens, and a 16MP selfie camera. You get several portrait features, starry scene, stabilization through software magic, and a night mode.

MediaTek Helio G95 is at the heart of the device, paired with 4GB/8GB of memory and 128GB of expandable storage. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, and it can fast charge over 30W. Realme 8 ships with Android11 and comes in Cyber Silver and Cyber Black. It is expected to start from Rs. 32,999.

Realme 8 Pro

Despite its gigantic ‘Dare To Leap’ branding, the Realme 8 Pro has a more muted design by comparison. It’s available in Infinite Black and Blue finishes. It also has the same camera setup, except for the high-res 108MP Samsung sensor powering the array.

The display is no different, from dimensions to specs and even the hole-punch cutout and the on-screen fingerprint scanner. Realme 8 Pro also features copper cooling tech, Hi-Res certified dual speakers, and reverse charging.

The hardware inside the Realme 8 Pro is made more powerful thanks to the Snapdragon 720G chip. We also get a 6/8GB of memory, 4500 mAh battery, and 50W charging support (Realme ships a 65W charging brick with the phone.) WhatMobile puts its price to be around at Rs. 40,000 to 45,000 PKR.
